Fun Times with Dad

Hey Dad, what am I supposed to do here?

 Oh, I get it now.

I don't know exactly what this is, but I like it.

Just a cool action shot.

King of the Hill

I wasn't doing anything.  I promise.

Thanks Dad for taking me to a great birthday party.  I thoroughly enjoyed all three plates of fruits and veggies so much that I didn't save room for cake.

Superhero Day

The Children's Museum hosted a superhero day today, so I put Cooper in the only costume-like outfit we own and off we went.  When I asked him what superhero he was, he replied, "Super Cooper."

He was gun-shy around the Batman and Superman characters milling around.  To distract him, we visited some of his favorite places in the museum.

The Cave

Where has my baby gone?  Everywhere I look, I only see this big kid.

We spent a little time in the autoshop.

Just when I thought it was time to head home, he warmed up to the idea of the superheroes.  He high-fived Superman and Robin, and took stickers from them.  He also asked to have his face-painted, and he picked out the design himself.

We found a great way to avoid these 100+ degree days we are having around here by hanging out inside, and finishing it off with a milkshake.

Children's Museum Fun

We visited our local Children's Museum for Moonbounce Mania.  Yes, I survived.  It does make you question your sanity for taking your kid to events like this, but the smiles on his face were worth it.

Are you tired from all this activity?  I am, but Cooper wasn't.  He is like the Energizer Bunny.

Mommy and Cooper Time

A few months ago, J & Cooper visited the Children's Museum and bought a membership.  Between crazy weekends and Cooper's nap time, we haven't had many opportunities to visit again.  I quickly got him ready while J packed a lunch for a little Mommy and Cooper time.

C-mor is set up with mini-exhibit areas.  Cooper just jumped right in.

What's under the hood?

A little grocery shopping.

Stalking through the treehouse.

Water fun. Love the colors.

Digging for dinosaurs.

Then it went a different direction when Cooper found a broom and dustpan.  He felt the exhibit needed a little cleaning.

He polished off the PB&J while enjoying a little sunshine in the lobby.

We had a great, but tiring morning. Next on the agenda, a four hour nap.  When I am going to learn to nap when he does.

Children's Musuem with Dad

J took Cooper out on Sunday while I traveled to Philadelphia. We are now proud members of the Children's Museum of Richmond. I think J got in his exercise that day simply by chasing after Cooper all afternoon.

Yes, Cooper has a new Wonder Pets t-shirt. I bought this one for him to grow into, but when Dad dresses him, you never know what's going to happen. Glad they both survived their father-son outing.
