Adventures with the cousins

While Cooper was on Spring Break with my parents, my sister and her family kidnapped him for the day.

Cousin Baby Bump

My little sis is probably going to be mad at me posting this, but they were so cute sitting in the chair together. And I didn't get any other pictures of them together that weekend, so don't be mad.

Cooper and I went to visit for her baby shower.  They were sitting together eating pretzels and having a little bonding moment.  Her world is about to be turned upside down with the arrival of their little boy.  We can't wait to meet him.

Sorry for the lack of posts but between returning from vacation, an earthquake, a hurricane, attending my 20th high school reunion, a husband prepping to host a conference and all the regular stuff, we are struggling just to keep up.  Hoping to find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Another busy beach day

Cooper started the day with a little reading, and then we were off.

 

And then he slept twelve hours that night because he didn't stop long enough for a nap.

No, he really is just 3.

Cooper is very excited about heading to the beach with his cousins.  So much so that he has already packed his bag (with action figures and movies), and made me put it in the back of the car. 

Now, does he look like he is ready to head off to first grade?  I need to go ahead and set up a shoe fund because it looks like I might need a second job just to keep him clothed.

Family Surprise

We were lucky this week to have some extra special visitors spend some time with us.  The week started up with the grandparents coming for a visit, then my sweet sister-in-law and her family came to join them.  It was loud and chaotic, and we had a great time being together.  Cooper loves playing with his cousin.  You would never know they are almost two years apart when you look at them.  Cooper is almost her height.

They played, danced with Mickey, built tall towers, read lots of books, watched Beauty and the Beast, and all in all, had a great time.  Thanks for the visit.

Pre-Halloween Happenings

We had some company for pre-Halloween happenings this year.  My sister and her family came to visit.  My two nephews are great with Cooper. 

 We had a little craft time making candy corn characters.

 

We went to a family festival at a local park.  I didn't get a good picture of the costume winners, Lucy and Summer.  The boys dressed their dogs up as a devil and an angel.  The costumes fit their personalities to a tee.

He loved getting the guts out.
