4th of July - Family Style

 He so wants to be one of the big boys with their toys.  Can someone help me here?  Please?

 He recovered in time for some of Grammy's coconut cake that he helped her make.

 And it wouldn't be complete without some red, white, and blue marshmallows.

We had a busy, low key 4th.  Nice way to spend the day.

Happy 4th, 2011

We spent a terrific 4th of July with friends. Cooper had a terrific time playing with Miss Z. They are quite the pair.

I think they were singing to each other here.

The fireworks were amazing. Thanks to terrific hosts, we even braved the torrential downpours.

How cool is this picture?  A complete accident, but now I am ready to try some other shots like this for the next fireworks display.

Look at how much he has grown since 2009 and 2010.

Happy 4th

We spent an enjoyable and relaxing 4th of July with the family on the water.

We kept our promise from last year, and let him go a little faster on the tube.  I took my first solo ride in several years ... until the tube got the best of me.  Cooper did not like to see me go over.  A little cuddle time helped to make everything okay.

We had a terrific time.  No fireworks again this year.  Maybe we will try for next year.
