Ready to go places

Does he look ready to go or what?

This is his new Strider Balance bike that he got over Christmas.  We finally found him a helmet that fit.  Don't ask what size it is, but rest assured that we are almost out of the kid's section.  The weather hasn't cooperated much for him to be outside, but he started out like a champ.  The balance part will come soon.  I love how quickly the kids learn how to master the balance, so hopefully we can skip the training wheels when he gets older.

Family Surprise

We were lucky this week to have some extra special visitors spend some time with us.  The week started up with the grandparents coming for a visit, then my sweet sister-in-law and her family came to join them.  It was loud and chaotic, and we had a great time being together.  Cooper loves playing with his cousin.  You would never know they are almost two years apart when you look at them.  Cooper is almost her height.

They played, danced with Mickey, built tall towers, read lots of books, watched Beauty and the Beast, and all in all, had a great time.  Thanks for the visit.

Growing up so fast!

Who is this kid, and how has he grown so fast? 

He was showing off his new (size 8+) helmet.  He's now ready to ride his new balance bike.

Life with a 3 year old

For all you parents out there, this video makes perfect sense.  You never know what is going to happen from one minute to the next around this guy.  At least he keeps us laughing.

Goggle Dude

Cooper came around the corner tonight and told me, "The lights are green Mommy."

Well, I guess they are little man wearing green goggles.  I almost want to ask what's next, but I know better than to tempt fate.
