For multiple projects to occur while I am on the bike trainer. In the span of about 45 minutes, this is what I found.
The boy loves his Legos. And his new Lego journal the Tooth Fairy left him this week.
This is Georgia, our black lab. I'm not really sure why she has a yellow face or a really thick front leg, but he was adamant that it had to be that way.
And this is the model airplane that he tried to put together by himself.
But he told me that he used the bag so he didn't get glue on the table. At least he's conscientious, or terrified of what I would do to him if he messed up the table.
Lesson learned for Mommy - spend less time on the trainer or lock up the art supplies. At least he wasn't glued to the TV. So small victories.

And summer camp is officially on
And I haven't cried yet. This big guy left for two weeks away with the grandparents (one week with each pair). Please pray for them, because J and I are going to live it (well go to work, sleep, and get projects done you can't do as well with someone asking you 500 questions a minute).
Still loving the snaggle-tooth grin. He's only been gone an hour and I've actually posted two times. Woohoo!

Someone's Growing Up Too Fast
About two weeks ago, Cooper announced on a Monday morning that his tooth was loose. Are you kidding me, he's only five. How in the heck did this happen already. He did admit to using his teeth to loosen his Legos. Boys will be boys.
So, over the course of the last week, we could see his adult tooth coming in, so the serious work of getting the baby tooth out started. See how crooked it is sitting.
We have been working with for the last several nights to get it out, and finally last night, we had success.
He actually pulled it himself. Surprise for all of us.
The toothless wonder finally was able to put his TarHeel Tooth Fairy pillow to work. He promised me that he believed in the Tooth Fairy before bed last night. And he was happy to get a Star Wars lanyard as his gift. Gotta love a flexible and all-knowing Tooth Fairy.
