Interactive Play

Several days ago I was trying to catch up with laundry, changing sheets, etc.  So I gave Cooper the task of lining up his animals around his bed.  Yes, I sent my son off to his room to do an inane task just to keep him out of my way.

This is what I found ...

And this is what I heard ...

Bubble fun

While spending a little time on the dock, Cooper found something to giggle about.

Wordless Wednesday - Well, I have to explain this one, so not Wordless

"No, Mommy.  You did not catch me pulling a stepstool up to the counter and eating strawberries out of the serving bowl."  Cooper would never do anything like that.  Don't you love the hiked up pajama bottom pants.  He is going to hate me one day for posting all these pictures of him

Just cruising through the neighborhood.

Be afraid when a little boy comes up to you holding his hands out like this, and says "Look mommy."

Imagine a little boy pretending to be a dinasour.

He thought his shadow was pretty cool.

Well, Hello Elmo!  Whatcha looking at?

Young Love

While recently visiting my inlaws, Cooper became quite smitten with a little girl. He is almost 2 1/2, she is 6. That didn't bother either of them. Whatever she said, he did. Exactly as it should be.

Oh, young love.  Look at those gazing eyes looking up at her.

Happy Easter

It was great seeing Cooper enjoy his Easter basket and the egg hunt.  It does make me realize that I want him to know more about Easter than the bunny and the chocolate, so we will be working on that this year.  Anyway, he did have a great time, even if I was the Mom who gave her child an Easter basket without any candy in it.  Grammy to the rescue with just the right amount.

Office Spud accessories for "Tato Head".

One of those crazy grow to 600% of original size rabbits.

Spending a little quiet time with Dad at the sandbox.

Don't worry, Officer Spud kept everything under control.

A man on an egg hunt mission. Look at how serious that expression is.

Making sure all the eggs end up in the right basket. Actually, he was very good with sharing.

Wrapping up the hunt.

We had a great day with family. So fortunate to have them close by.  If you would like a blast from the past, check out last year's posts Egg Hunt and Bunny Cake, or how about this one from his first Easter.

Cooper is the Present

We took a quick trip down South to visit the grandparents for Easter. J's sister was also headed there, so we would get to visit with even more family at the same time.  Cooper was so excited, and we brought Grammy an early birthday present.

There actually was a present in the box, but shhh don't tell Cooper or Grammy.  Cooper was happy being in the box and Grammy was happy with was in the box (both before and after opening it).

More to come about our visit later.
