Wordless Wednesday - Ride 'em Leroy

Yes, the monkey's name is Leroy.  I'm not sure what the bunny did to deserve this.

Our little Olympian

Cooper is prepping for his go at the Olympics.  I didn't catch pictures of his first two events, but it suffices to say that he swam and biked well.  The running just wasn't what he thought it should be.  Please excuse the outfit, J calls these pjs the hot pants outfit.  I think they make him look fast, or like he has really long legs.

Excuse the blurriness, but my camera just couldn't keep up.

"Are you sure that was my time?"

 Can you feel the emotion?

I have no idea why he posed this way for the last two shots other than he already has a flair for the dramatic.  Hope you are enjoying the Olympic Trials as much as we are.

Running the bases

We spent quite a few evenings this summer cheering for the Squirrels.  For this time, J organized our group to sit in a party zone.  For our group, there was regular seating and seating with tables, and a little room to stretch.

The kids had a great time eating.

And running the bases after the game.  This was Cooper's first time doing this.  And I need to work on my action photography, but look at those long legs.

Summer Garden Camp Artwork

Cooper's summer camp produced a ton of artwork.  I am trying to contain it by taking pictures or scanning so we don't get flooded by the quantity.

This says "Under the sea, I would be an octopus with a scuba diver."  Love the eyeballs and ears.

Grandparent Fun Time

My parents came to J's rescue to take Cooper before I traveled to DC for a business trip.  We had a little fun while they were here.

 Trying to float.

Watch out Papa, here I come.

Enjoying a beverage at a favorite hangout.  There were no drops left.
 Backyard exploring by night.

I hope he didn't bring inside whatever he found.  He was lightning bug obsessed for days.

Summer Baseball Love

Cooper loves his baseball, especially when it comes to the Flying Squirrels.

We are one silly family. But that's what makes it fun.
